To use a stock length 4th gen driveshaft, you need a TH350 with a 9" tailshaft, yes. If thats what your asking.

I used to run the stock driveshaft on my 9" tailshaft when I had my th350 it worked but it could have been a little longer. Now I'm running a th400 with a custom strange chromemoly shaft.
