48" from pivot to center of rear axle measured on one of the baddest drag radial Camaros out there, runs 4.7s in the 1/8 on radials.

I had a jegster on a much slower car than you're talking about and I didn't like it at all. I'd go with madman's stuff for a race car for sure.

Take the time and call Steve and Brian @ Madman. They do great work. They aren't the cheapest but they are among the highest in Quality and the customer service is 2nd to none.

Steve/Brian, you ever consider making a version of your tq arm that doesn't require the brace to span the width of the car, possibly something that could loop around with the tranny mount?

Only reason I ask, is that I do some racing @ Etown and had to build an exhaust with a couple 2 chamber mufflers and there just isn't room to put a bar across the entire car the way that your standard mont is constructed.

I'd love to put one of your tq arms on my car, hell I plan this summer to upgrade to some double adjustable afco's (You'll be getting that order because you have the right valving, front springs etc.etc) and I"m sure that putting your tq arm on at the same time would be a huge improvment, but I can't do it with your existing mount setup.

If it's something that can be made/done, please let me know, that was the only reason that I didn't go with yours in the first place, and I don't know if the stock adjustable bmr unit on bmr's th400 crossmember with relocation is gonna be capable of 60 foot times any better then I've been able to do to date.

Take this to PM if need be.

We have customers running in the 1.29 to low 1.30 60' with the setup you have. How much quicker are you needing? what's the power plant?

car's doing consistant low 1.4x, and will occasionally when I"m lucky see a 1.37 to 1.39, but only on a really good day.

13.5 to 1 402, makes about 450 to the tires plus a 150 hit right off the transbrake, 3350 lbs.

I'm not sure if I'm at the limit of what I should be seeing without taking any more weight out or without adding more power, but both are gonna happen (anohter 300 lbs out, and probably put an intake on that should pick it up 25 hp or so as well as a fogger with another 100 hp of jet) before the car gets run again. Double adjustable afco's will be on the car, and possibly a tq arm change too.

Spend the money on Brians(MADMAN) torque arm and you'll thank me later. Brian goes the distance when it comes to customer service and will assist in getting the car setup initally and after the install is complete. It makes a difference when your buying from someone who tests on a weekly basis and isn't afraid to share information.

dealing with the same situation.... My 4" oval dual exhaust exits at both sides of the car in front of the rear tires and we had to cut some of my double diamond subframe connectors off just to make it fit. There is no way I could get a huge crossmember in there without completely removing the exhaust and redoing it.... So now i'm getting to the point where i'm going to put wheelie bars on it with my current non adjustable spohn that I can't seem to bend yet (even though I cut a 1.38 60' time pedaling the **** out of the car to keep the front end down)..... It's either a spohn with wheelie bars or a madman and no exhaust..... so is life.....
