Default 11.407 new best with my baby cam tonght!

Amazing what a little cooler air will do for our cars. Not a whole lot better but an 11.407 @ 116.46 mph. Not too bad for this little Comp 218/218, .528 lift cam. And a new best 1.539 60', and 1/8 et 7.201 @ 94.16 mph.

Might mention to that I was carrying about 35-40 pounds more in fuel.

And to go along with my new best, a first place trophy! A fun night out.

Very nice! Are the heads stock? I'm assuming you have an A4 with a big stall ?

Very nice Larry! Congrats on the win also. With some nice heads, a bigger converter, and real slicks, 10s no prob. Keep in mind everyone, that these runs are done on Larry's ET Streets. He drives 60 miles to the track and drives home on them. (yep, he's crazy)

I really am crazy! ET Streets driving 53 miles one way to the track. I know what to do when I see water on the street though.

10's really would be easy with this car with a good set of heads and a daddy cam. But then I would need a stronger rear end. Still have your old rear end in my car. And follow that up with a built tranny. My tranny is my original stock with the exception of a Transgo shift kit. One thing leads to another.

Remember, I've had a taste of low 10s. Kinda didn't like the results.

I have a 3.23 just as you. I think the 3.23 is the only reason my rear hasn't gone yet. Maybe I should give it a real test and go with a 224 cam with some real heads.

Congrats on the win and the new best ET! I'm not surprised at all. You have that gift for tweaking and theright mind set that bigger isn't always better. We have missed you out at HRP lately. The Ol' blue grocery getter has a bad ring andf shes'waiting on a transplant. We're going bad with a stock cast assembly. We have over 400 hard passes on this motor so I can't complain. especially since several of those were high 10s. Good luck to ya and hope to see at the track soon. Hopefully in the 10 second corral.

Hey larry please let me know what you have in that mustang 347 to get that timeslip. I just need to know basically the weight and shot or whatever power adder you are using.

Thanks,

We must be missing each other James. Have you been out on Wednesdays lately?

ssdungeon,

My Mustang was na. No power adder. It weighed 2435 pounds with me in it. Outside was stock looking except for no exhaust pipes and I did have a slightly cowl hood. I had a 224/230, .550 lift cam with the shift light at 5800 rpm. It made 530 pounds of torque through a C4 with a PI 3200 stall.
