Default Too much weight on RR caust it to drive left?

On 4 corner scales I have 105# more on the RR than the LR. AT the track I catch myself correcting back to the right after the car settles down after it launches. Is this the cause?

So just to make sure you have 105 lbs. more on the right rear tire then the left rear tire with you setting in the drivers seat?

Yeah that's alot of weight to have on one tire vs the other, 5 to 15 lbs was always the range of weight that the right rear should be heavier then the left, that was dependant on how stiff the rollbar is.

A car with a stock rear swaybar would need more weight on the right rear to leave level then a car with say a wolfe drag bar, if that makes sense.

Nah, what I did was took the steel spacer in between the links on the drivers side, knocked out the round washer, cut off an inch. Put the part I cut off on the bottom and pulled the left side up higher than the right. Loading the right rear. I can adjust it with washers.

You guys ever check your rear weights with the front wheels up? Put a piece of tubing, or a big, deep 1/2" drive socket on your floor jack, measure the K member to find & mark the center, and jack it up 'till the front tires are off the floor. You'll likely find a lot of RR weight in it. That's with your butt in the seat. The Comp and Pro Stock guys run bigger RR springs. When I still had stock rear springs, I put a 6 cyl '89 Camaro spring in the left rear, took less pre-load in the right PeteZ bar to make it run straight when the wheels were up. My old bracket engine went way past the 60' light before it set down, often in 2nd gear. Nice for it to go straight. This little SS engine doesn't have that tendancy. Loosing 100 ft lbs tend to calm one down.

Damn! I meant heavy LR. Mine was anyway, over 100 lbs with me in it. Sorry, can't even type.

What bottles??

What is "FL"?

I don't know of anybody that doesn't have to run a little pre load, unless they don't carry the front very far out. Carry the front tires out over 100' it had better go straight.
