Loss of MPH after the 1/8th?

Loss of MPH after the 1/8th? What would be some possible reasons for lost of MPH after the 1/8th mile? Im trapping 92mph in the 1/8th but only 115 in the quarter on an NA car.
Would weather cause a problem? Weight? Gearing? Shift points?

Re: Loss of MPH after the 1/8th? Shift points can hurt alot these are 2 seperate runs only difference is I spun 3rd gear to 6500 on the 12.05 run on the 11.87 run only to 6000
12.05 @ 114.8 1.72 60 foot 1/8 91.05
11.87 @ 116.65 1.70 60 foot 1/8 91.85
Are you hitting the limiter or running out of gear at the end of the track? Have you had the car on a dyno and seen when your power starts to drop off?
I have never had mine on a dyno but just looking at those 2 runs it tells me the car falls off bad at 6000+.
12.05 @ 114.8 1.72 60 foot 1/8 91.05
11.87 @ 116.65 1.70 60 foot 1/8 91.85

Mustang Hatr'2 thanks for the advice. Have you dynoed your car yet? Looks like you could go mid 11's with that DA!

87.61 in the 1/8
115.24 in the 1/4 on a 2.2 60'( spun like hell)
Last time with stickier tires I did.
