I was looking for solid motor mounts and this all ive been able to come up with...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-...1%7C240%3A1318

if im reading the ad correctly they bolt the engine directly to the k member eliminating the engine mounts and k member stands...anybody use these.....sorry mods if i wasnt supposed to link to ebay...

For a solid mount, I would go with motor plates and be done. It will free up a lot of room as well. 199.00 for a set and you are ready to go.

Those are what i've seen for solid mounts. Those will work with the stock k-member but not with most (if not all) tubular k-members b/c they include a fixed mount to put your rubber or urethane mounts on.

Someone correct me if i'm wrong on this

See, thx for chiming in I know i've seen some aftermarket ones without mounts so I didn't know if they had spots for the solid mounts. Learned that at least some do.

The J bracket welds to the frame and the plates bolt to that and the front of the motor. It is a very easy install. After that you can remoce te factory pedatle and cear a lot of room. It also becomes easy to pull the motor when needed.
