Not that it matters since you dont need the torque arm, but i wasnt satisfied with my BMR. The torque arm mount hits the trans tunnel so i had to rig up a way to make the torque arm mount up and i was no fun at all! But ya if i remember right there is a way you can make the stocker work... just gonna have to do some searchin, i dont really remember what they said.

Glad you guys like the product!

The stock 6-Speed crossmember will work with a TH400... it just needs a spacer on it. The TH350 is quite short, the only way to make the stocker work would be to weld a mount on it.

If you have any questions regarding our product I will be glad to help.

Thank you!
Ryan

well if it helps me ut, the trans has the 9'' tailshaft so the overall length is the same as a 4l60. And is what i dont get is i put a th350 in my '89 iroc when i blew up the 700r4 (same as a 4l60) and i didnt need to buy a crossmember.

I modified a stocker to work with mine, been running it the last couple years.

Over the Holidays, BMR had a fantastic deal on them so I purchased one of theirs

I run a 6 inch tailshaft 350 or a powerglide

You did need to buy the conversion kit from B&M or the like to mount it to your factory trans crossmember, I am running it in mine as well, it lowers and moves the trans mount back probably 2" or so.

Just the tailshaft is longer though. The mount is in the same place. But at least you get to use your stock D/S for now, unless you're having a nice C/M or C/F piece made.

Taubr--My transmission shop used a Fitz-all kit that re-uses the factory 4L60E tail onto the back of the th350. There is a 2" spacer that goes between the th350 and the 4L tail. That way my speedo still works perfect and it bolts right up to the factory crossmember. Kills 2 birds with 1 stone.

EDIT: the stock driveshaft works when yuo do it this way.

cool Phil, too bad it isnt CM or even aluminum. If you know BBRC, they made a aluminum one, im trying to find it again. But if all else fails prob. go with that one. You want to come off that cheeta shifter yet?
