I realized that after looking at it for a minute. At first I thought it was some sort of super rice growing on top of a formula spoiler.

Hard to tell, car has less than 100 miles on the wheels. But im about 98% positive that it wont. As long as you dont wipe it off with a dry rag it will be fine. Just blast the dust of at the car wash.

Sounds like he might not know alot about different powders out there.

When doing deep black on wheels, I always use a super durable wet black. Has 3 times more pencil hardness compared to normal powder, along with alot more UV resistance as well.

Or, if not doing black and you want that level of resistance, I lay a super durable clear over everything instead..same concept.

He is correct though that if a normal high gloss powder is used, and you were to constantly be wiping contaminents off the wheels without using any lubrication(soap, water, glass cleaner, etc, etc) you would start to scuff up the gloss finish. Just gotta know the right powder for the application, and also explain proper care and maintenance to the customer as well.

When I first saw it I thought you had some weird double stacked spoiler too. I think the wheels look really good.

Jason at Drag Wheelz PM'd me yesterday asking for my address to drop your wheels off. Haven't heard what day he's coming, but I'll let you know when I have the wheels in hand
