Lynda, it doesn't look like I will be able to make the Thunder shootout this November. I bought a new trailer in Aug. but still need to get a new truck to make the long trip down. The truck I have now has 304,500 miles on it and I don't really trust it on a long trip. I would love to get a new one but just can't swing it right now.

congrats on some killer #s John! I'm hoping for some times like those as well, only my 11:1 383 with a solid cam will be doing them! Oh well, aerodynamics of a Nova are probably 1-2 tenths slower right there!

Weighed the car today at Mason Dixon (NHRA cert. scale). It's a little lighter than I though.

Weighed 3360. But, I had the passengers seat and a little more gas in it. So I figure the raceweight yesterday was more like 3320.

Well.. It is my favorite track!, but it's still 100 miles one way I'm in north western Maryland.

The East Coast is blessed with low altitude tracks.
New Jersey has Englishton,and Atco which are sea level tracks, combine that with a - DA and hang on.
