i wish i could believe that, the 11.57 guy that just posted his results is just North of me in Texas and he went out Sunday as I went out saturday and the weather was actually better saturday here in texas oh well

Hey John....post-mortum on Al's motor.....the bolt that holds the drivers-side cam sproket broke somewhere around 7500 rpm in 4th gear. Needless to say, the motor didn't like that. The force of the valves hitting the pistons actually BENT the exhaust cam, and broke some of the retainer caps. One or more of the dropped valves hit the pistons hard enough that the piston skirts went into the cylinder walls, and....well....you get the idea. Sucks, but that's racing.

He did say the bearings looked brand new - which is a good thing.

some has to do with the way your car is tuned too my car would of gone faster but it was holding 1st to 2nd a littlie to long but it will all be fixed next time i take it out to the track by the way my car i was moded copying Lane and V6 Bird (Mike) car set up so it should soon be there with Mike
