Default iron block alternator tensioner

I am building a 6.0 iron block for drag racing. The engine will run an electric water pump with no power steering or ac. The class does require an alternator though. What is everyone running for a tensioner with a similar setup? I'de like to keep the alternator down low, and the only thing I have seen is the BMR drag race alternator tensioner, but it can not be used with the iron block due to a missing key bolt hole spot on the iron blocks. Any ideas?

i had the hardest time mounting my alternator, and ended up bolting an old school gm alternator directly to the block.
welded some tabs across the way, and adjust belt tension with a set of rod ends on a threaded shaft.
i run a camaro spacing crank pulley and run it off the a/c side of it.
perfect alignment.
works great.

Drilling and tapping the missing hole you are speaking of is not a problem at all. I could do that all day long. The problem is the iron blocks do not have a key boss for the second hole at all. There is nothing to tap.

Yeah drilling that hole on a 6.0L is going to get you wet!
