Default First steps into messing with the suspension.

The car as it sits is a 02 Z28 with a lid and shifter and SFCs. Basically stock, and it ran the time posted in my sig. The best 60' I've gotten thus far is a 2.19. Where should I start with the suspension and tires to get that 60' down? I've heard everything under the sun at this point through friends, people with f-bodies and the damn search button.

Where did you guys start? What made the biggest difference?

Get some drag radials first, then start in on the suspension

I'd start with tires, that will make the biggest instant change in the way the car will leave.

Then I would do a rear, control arms, phb to center the rear of the car and a tq arm with a solid chassis mount, either thee bmr one that gets the tq arm off the tranny.

Shocks/springs and a swaybar next.

That's about all that's needed really, the lw front end stuff is just that, weight removal for the most part. The rod ends will react quicker and be more consistant, but until you are in the 9 second range I doubt that stuff would really make a worldy difference, other then the weight reduction.

Yeah, a rear is in my future, I've already calculated that in .
