Default 325/50/15 MT Drag Radials

I posted this in the wheel and tire section and even tried the search but got nothing. So I figured I'd post it over here where the racers are.

I bought a set for $350 that still have the stickers on them and need to know if they will fit my 99 Z28 without chopping on the car. I didn't really want a tire this big but I figured with Summit getting $209 a piece for these it was too good of a deal to pass up. I currently have 28x11.5x15 Hoosier QTP's on bogart D10's

if your 28's fit fine then you will be good. just make sure when you put them on you check clearences around the tire. it should be all good. might have to bang the inner wells in a little bit but maybe not

Cut the bump stops off, beat in the metal above where the bump stop was, and maybe trim the back bumper a little. For some reason the distance between the tire and the bottom of the bumper varies from car to car so you may not have to trim it.

I figured they'd fit but was just wondering if anyone has tried these. I hate to put them on my Bogarts if they don't fit because those things are a bitch to break back down without messing up my rims.

i bought this same size tire off a guy that was running them on his 97 t/a. they just barely fit! he did a whole lot of banging on the upper front of the inner fender to make`em fit.

You will need to do a little work to make them fit. Are you running stock springs out back, and is the car stock ride height?

I have a set FS here in Chicago if anyone is interested.

I had to cut the bump stops off and do the BFH mod to the inner fenders to get them to fit on mine.

Car is at stock ride height with stock springs. I might just sell them and buy the smaller 28" MT DR's. I don't really want to cut on this car because I also have a 98 TA race car under construction that I'm chopping up and getting really light
