Please Help Me Hook Up...... First im going to list my set up than explain my problem.
2001 Ta with a lid,ported maf + tb,3k 2.1 str converter,trans go shift kit,bmr lower controll arms,tq arm,panhard rod, nitto 555r 275's,hal/qa1 shocks in the back,and a magnaflow muffler. I would say car is slightly modded. Also have ls1 edit if that means anything..
Ok my problem is hooking up at the track. The only thing i do is spin them off the line. I tried to feather it out of the hole,brake stall and so on. Im guessing my suspension is not set up right cause i do have good tires now and still can't hook. Yes i do heat them up for 5-10 seconds.
So my question is what should the rear pinion angle be set at for max bite, what about the hal/qa1 shocks set at. Oh not to mention i have about 100lbs of extra weight over the rear tires(speaker box). What am i doing wrong. I have seen a ton of cars with tons more power run way quicker times on the same tires. What gives
