not sure about the 2 ds-2's being lighter than one sportsman pro. i thought the sportsman pros are 16 lbs each and the ds-2's are 12 lbs each.
16x2=32 and 12x2=24 (8 lb savings)

Pick the tires up and you'll find it's not that close, I don't think those weights are 100% accurate.

I'm gnona say it's more like 10 lbs per tire, going from a sportsman pro to a DS-2, I will try to get one of my bogarts with the ds-2 mounted up on the scale this weekend if I have time. I do have a thick spacer welded onto the inside of my wheels... but that might be coming off if I can determine there's enough space between the wheel and my aerospace brakes. to not have a clearnance issue. Just not sure how to get it off, the welds look pretty thick, and I'm not 100% that it's just the 5 spots on the back of the wheel either.

my aluma stars are arriving tomorrow and they have 4 ply sportsman pros on them. I'll also try to get em on a scale. If there that much heavier, they're coming off...

just weighed my 1 piece 15x3.5 aluma star 2.0's with the 26x7.5 Mickey Thompson 4 ply Sportsman pros. Both weighed in at 24.3 lbs each. Pretty sure the front aluma stars are around 9.75 lbs. So that would make the tires 14.55 lbs each.

I'll try to weigh mine in the morning. If its only 4 lbs more than i'm keeping my sportsman pros they look better to me.

I weighed my Moroso Drag Special fronts (just slightly lighter than the DS-2) and they weigh 10 lbs each, just like their site says. Each 15x3.5 Weld Draglite + Drag Special combo weighs right at 20 lbs.
