Towing question
I bought t hooks, and put them on my ratchet straps, and go to the t slots under the car, I can hook it up in about 2 minutes now, instead of 15 minutes, crawling under to wrap around the k, and be carefull to not pinch the rear brake lines...

+1 on T hooks, makes it quick, easy, and very dependable. The holes in the "frame" are made for those hooks. You can get them through any body shop, or towing company. Im sure if you search on yahoo you'll find it. http://www.towx.com/category_s/33.htm

I'm looking, but all i am finding is t-hooks with chains. I just want the hook itself. I like the idea! Been thinking about a way to utilize the stock towing points..this will work.

I use 2 straps on the front, attach them to the hook tabs on the frame in the front, rear straps get crossed over the rear to the trailer. The rears are doubled up as well, shoudl I hve to slam the brakes on I want those stronger then needed.

My straps have small hooks on them that will fit in the t hook holes. I do that on all four corners crossing left and right. I can get the suspenion movement out of the car like that.
Either wrap around the k member and axle, and lock it so the safety clips hold it, or use t hooks IMHO...
i use axle straps on the rear, they wrap around the rearend and then you use a good strap to them and cross them. i always try to strap the front to the lower control arms, this allows the suspension to bounce up and down yet the tires stay planted to the trailer.
or make sure the front suspension is compressed really good! if you go to the frame hooks. i have had a couple of straps break, from the car bouncing on some of the "nice" roads in america.
my buddy car even passed him on the highway coming back from texas! it was on the trailer!!

I use a 4-point set-up. Two straps with sleeves over the axle with a double j-hook to the trailer floor, then two straps with sleeves around the lower control arms that hook into a j-hook bolted to the trailer floor. Works well.

Holy crap... I hope that never happens to me... I never knew they made these T hooks guys... gonna have to order some ASAP!
