Default 570WHP M6 launches - airbag issues?

I'm just wondering if there are any concerns with airbags deploying when/if your car pulls the wheels and sets the front end down any other way than gently. Anyone ever hear of airbags deploying on folks @ the track?

FYI, I've always wanted a car capable of pulling its wheels @ the track. This year is my first chance to achieve that goal. I'd rather my noobness not spoil it by not disconnecting the airbags IF NEEDED.

The car is still very much driven on the street - so I really would prefer to leave the airbags in if possible... but damn sure don't want to have them in my face if I pull the front of the ground the first time out to the track.

Thanks for any feedback.

mine light came on going down the track a few times. I removed them, but added a 6point, running 5point harness. So I hope thats safer ?

I saw a video awhile back of somebody popping the airbags when they pulled the 'chute going through the traps. I'll have to see if i can find it. Talk about a rude awakening.
