3 1/2" was cut to get the right look of the tire in the wheel well. you could go 4" if you wanted? just incase you were running bigger tires. i have 31-10.5w's on the car. there is about 1" clearance from the tire to the fender lip in front.

not sure on the colum? it was on the car when i got it.

"Street driven" and "full street car" are 2 completely different terms. My 12:1, solid roller, carb'd 414" face plated tranny with no AC, heat, radio, or PS, PB is gonna be street driven as well. Would I consider it a full street car? Heck no!

Why not? I consider my 439ci 14.0:1 camaro with a glide/5500 stall a street car.

what is a street car? it has power windows/locks/radio/ full interior/ all front and rear lights/ even back up! it is licened and insured and i will drive it most weekend to race or car show.

sounds like a street car to me!

my 71 elcamino was a 355 11:1 600 lift solid roller, turbo 350 with a-1 4000 stall. full show car paint and interior (was in a couple of mags also) i raced and drove that car everyday for 6 years! i even did the power tour from cali to az and then ran the car at the track! and it ran 10.80s !!

i guess this isn't a street car either?

Look, before we get into what is a street car debate, let's squash it right now:

The difference between a chassis car with aluminum floors and a 542" carb BBC and your 71 El Camino

Just because you can drive a car on the street does NOT make it a "Full street car", OK? That is ALL I am saying.

If a car is your ONLY means of transportation, and you drive it work everyday, take the kids shopping in, run errands in, in teh rain, snow, etc...than THAT is your "full street car", OK?

You drive it on the street to car shows and the local cruise and such but nothing else, than that is NOT a "FULL street car". Period.

Yes and yes. Drive it to work at least three times a week. Fill it up, at work. We have 110 and 116 out of the pumps. Speed Shop Race Gas station.

That's the dumbest **** I've ever heard. My daily driver is a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee, but aside from my Camaro, I also have a 78 firebird, that is all original. Now does that mean since my 08 Jeep is my main driver, that my firebird is not a street car? Since it's not my "only means of transportation" ???
