It is nice, but you can call that a "full street car" all you want, but I would think a "weekend cruiser" would be better suited

about 2 months, i hope! just wish all the little crap didn't take so long.

at least the motor is done! it's in my buddys 68 camaro getting testing at the track this weekend for the plate and fogger systems.

as soon as i get a couple of small things done, it should see the motor!

i'll post some pics of the motor in the 68 after i take some this weekend.

I know that feeling, i have a 72 GTO sitting in my garage that I want to finish, but I dont have the money right now to do it the way I want to (frame off resto) so it just sits for now, its a decent car for cruise nights, but no where near perfect.

i was going to do the 68 with the 540, with twins on it! but i couldn't pass up this car.

my buddys 68 camaro with a 540 and f2 procharger went 8.40s and weighed #3785 (pig) so when i got this deal and knew the weight and aero advantage to the first gen, it was a no brainer!

i just wish the cage was chromolly! then i wouldn't be limited to 7.50s

get that gto done! it will be worth some $$ some day!

how much did you have to widen the rear wheel opening, and also who makes that steering column.
