it can be done, you'll just have to get extended tubs from Wolfe. Like I said before, I don't have any pictures of what it looks like installed, but I do have some of the mustang we did. The car will have to be painted, if you're spot welding the tubs to the quarter panels. I think the fiberglass idea is a good option, but i've never done it that way.

So let me as this...can the wolfe tubs be done w/o cutting into the spring perches?
I ask because I would like to keep my suspension in the stock configuration as much as possible. Lots of good info in here Im definitely wanting to go with mini's after reading this thread!

Mine will go alot further down on the tire. On the fender side I cut out the curved part of the factory tub right next to the fender and made a 90* piece about 8 inches long and fiberglassed it in. I could make mine 1.5 inches lower in the rear, I street drive too much and the headers are torn up at the height it is now.
But on a 31 tall tire that low is gonna be tough.

I'm not sure if it's possible or not, I was told last night that it may not be, becuase the rear end will be about hitting the frame rails, I didn't even think of that.
A 29.5x10.5x15S tire was the original tire I wanted to use, 15W was the other option since the stuff I want to run will allow a W tire (max of a 33x10.5x15W, which there's no way I'm getting that in without back 1/2ing the car which at this point I don't want to do)
