SNAXS - the car is now a pretty different setup than my 7.50 run, and it's still awfully heavy If it runs 7.10's to 7.20's I'll be pleased though. I'm sure the weight is still the same, but here's my brief change list: bigger cam, valve job on the same old ancient technology heads (only flow 292 @ .600), Hooker long tubes vs MACs, 3.5" cutout vs 3.0, 12 bolt vs 10 bolt (both 4.11's), SPEC Stg.4 clutch, a little tune work, and some random odds and ends. That 7.50 run way back when was still on the stock clutch, and it slipped to a paltry 1.80 sixty foot time so I'm sure even with the identical setup with a better clutch, I could have reached the 7.30's pretty easily.

The best 1/4 mile is nothing to write home about. I COMPLETELY blew the launch, and gave up on the run. Still ran an 11.90, and was asked to knock it off for the night. It was packed that night, so I never even got a chance to make another pass Haven't been to HRP with it since. That was also all on the same setup as the 7.50 run, so nothing indicative of how it currently runs.. It feels a world faster though, but not sure how calibrated the butt-o-meter is

i got a 13.50 with about 1,000 miles on it. i also took the car to the track the very same day i bought it. i drove from the dealer (90 miles away) to my house, picked up my wife and son and drove to the track (160 miles away), and ran it all night. it only had about 260 miles on it and it would not brake out of the 14s.
