Default Ever since I installed the LCA relocation brackets...

The car is pulling violently to the left on a burnout. I can't get the damn tires hot enough to bite on the track I have adj LCAs and I have set both tires to equal distances from the front of the wheel well which isn't helping much. Is there something obvious I'm overlooking that would've changed with the addition of the brackets (setting to the lowest most hole)???

Car is running good...just can't get my 60' times due to traction problems from inadequately heated tires

went 11.401 @ 123.01 mph last night on a 1.73 60 foot time

I had a problem similar to what you're saying. I just moved mine up to the middle hole. It seemed to help. I don't have an explanation why though.

Maybe they can be set too aggressively??? I'm thinking of trying the middle hole and resquaring it...

check your welds, and bracket position.. i had one come out on mine, and the bracket pushed itself rearward, causing the rear to be off, and making for a nasty pull to the right in the front. all kinds of screweduppness..

Shiz has made one aborted run on teh 150 shot, because it went CRAZY into the other lane sideways. Dem brackets aint right somehow. 11.17 steering a car down a straightline on 28s just aint right. Brian, you prolly have teens in teh car if itll leave. Take dem damned brackets off, or measure from teh actually pivot points

Although the tire to fender measurement may be the same, that doesn't necessarily mean that the thrust angle of the rear end is correct...

You may want to have a 4-wheel alignment done. Since you have adjustable LCA's, you can adjust the thrust angle (whereas you can't with stock parts).

If you can't find anyone local to you. I know a shop here in Frederick that can get it done.

I don't have your pulling problem, but when I installed mine I lost some 60' time. Stock arms went a consistent 1.74, now these have me at 1.77-1.79. I've tried both holes with no luck and am thinking the pre-load isn't helping. Gonna try and put some slack in by not jacking up the rear when I bolt them in so they work more like a slapper bar. Anyone have any other suggestions?

well today I pulled both LCAs, made them the exact same length and put them back in and installed in the next hole up. did a few measurements and it looks like its square now (from the front LCA bolt to the shock mount is the same now). If this don't work...I'll move them back to the OEM holes which I KNOW work

It seems like a lot of people are having problems with these brackets. I had to move mine back up to the stock hole because my 27's rubbed. I was planning on getting some adjustable LCA's but now I don't even now if it's worth it. I just need to get my damn 60 ft. down.
