Pics of door bars for roll bar install
IF you have a 10 pt in the car and want to do a swingout that's fine, but with a 6 pt, I'd never do it. The bar isn't that big a deal to climb in and out over, just go in the car head first and then plop in the seat, and when you get out ya go *** first out and it's pretty easy.

I'm 6'3 280 and I have absolutely ZERO problems getting in and out of my car with no swingout in the car. If you can't get in and out of the car at your size.. that means one of 2 things, either A you need to go on a serious diet, or B you haven't tried going on over the bar the right way.
If it weren't for having to undo the window net I'd be able to jump in and out of my car as fast as I could with no cage in it at all. Now if you're talking about a 25.5 with the X in the door bar, and the seat is moved back and you have a custom column that's a different story.

glad it was right the 1st time.

this is in a 3rd gen. my pass side door bar actually has 2 bends in it, whereas the drivers only has one "kink."
the shape of the floor pan, and the different mounting of the seat really played a roll.
i didnt want my passengers knees to be in the dash, so the bar had to be routed a lil different when the seat was moved to the rear compared to the drivers.
I'm 6'3 265 and I climb over just fine, although I usually leave them out of street driving.
(I prefer not to rip dress pants trying to get out of my car when I get to work)
