The feel of a good 60 ft.
So I'm working on getting my car tuned and running to its full potential which it is currently not. I cut a 1.76 60ft time which is my best so far. The car dead hooked. All I can say is I can't wait to get that time down further. I know 1.76 isnt spectacular but i was sitting in the car like DAMN. Felt a little like a roller coaster launch. I can imagine what the guys running 1.5s and quicker are feeling. Must be one hell of a ride.

i know my 1/4 times are only 12.81. im supposed to be in the 11s. car feels strong so i don't know whats the problem. going ahave a professional look at my tune. i've been tuning it myself but i guees i'm doing something wrong. or maybe the car has a mechanical problem but like i said it feels strong so i don't know.

i have a pro kit and kyb adjustables set at 6 in the front 4 in the back. vig3200 converter. i really think there is something wrong with the car. either with the tuning or mechanical.

I remember the first time my car dead hooked. It's what really got the addiction rolling.
OP--What technique are you using to launch? Are you loading up the convertor, or stabbing it from idle?

Yeah I know what you mean. I remember when I first put my stall in and went to the track, threw me back, cell phone and radar detector went to the back seat. I went from 1.9-1.8s to 1.62-1.64s, and slowly work down to 1.5s just by learning the car, and messing with tire press. The bad thing is....you get use to it and want to 60ft better and go faster.

There's a huge difference between a 1.7x and a 1.5x. You're going to love it when you go 1.5x.
The first time I went 1.49 it def caught me off guard.
I can't wait till I leave on a 150 shot + T-brake (TH400)

Here's a mid 1.5 You will like it.
On the old motor it did 1.44 on a 100 shot out of the hole.
With my new Yank SS3600 I am anticipating some fun launches. Definitely better than what my TCI SSF was able to deliver.
