I've got a AED on my car as well with the Victor Jr. If you find the part numbers shoot them to me if you don't care.

When you guys put the new cable in did you go from the pedal all the way to the carb?

its all a fresh setup, but at least its not cruising in the 10's anymore.
would dip into the 9's at time. ive been playing with it, but i need some air bleeds to go any further.
ive got it in the high 12's-low 13's on the wideband right now.

1Quick, what front drive are you using?

I thought somebody made and adapter/spacer to rotate a 4150 card sideways?
Ive already got a nice 4150 I'd like to use, and I can see it will be tough to make fit. Any thoughts? Maybe I'll just have to fab one up when I get home if I can't find anything in production.

dont know of an adapter. you could always have a machine shop ban saw the flange off and re weld it crooked.
if you have enough plenum not to disturb the intake.
dont see why it wouldnt work.

I had a NOS Powershot kit on there and had just enough room to get a breather on top. I don't know how tall the powershot plate is though.

I thought I had a picture of it but I must not.

So what Lokar cable have you guys been using for this setup? Will TC-1000LS1 work? I have a Accufab 4150 with the Jegs GM style throttle bracket.

I think the "LS1" cable has LS1 specific fitting for the throttle body so it will not work with a carb or 4BBL throttle body. Get the Universal 36" cable and cut it down to your length. Be ready to modify the throttle pedal also; the Lokar has a funky looking pedal attachment that is nothing like stock.

I finally went to the junk yard and pulled one out of a 6 cylinder third gen car. It's about 24" long and works great

Anyway you can take a picture of it? I am curious about the part that connects onto the throttle bracket.

So I ordered the 85 S10 carb throttle cable. Man this thing is short. Just from eyeballing it I would say its only 20 inches long.. Looks like it will reach but it will be very close.

I think the one I pulled out of the junk yard was just at 24". I had some room to spare when I put it on but it works pretty damn good. The car should be down here in a week and I'll get some pics of the cable/linkage up

We used an universal lokar cable when setting up my car. 4150 here, AED throttle bracket and universal lokar cable trimmed to fit.

Andd in that pic the throttle cable isn't even in the car yet. DOH! Too many pics of the car. I'll get one later.
