As stated above, the carb is sideways for clearance. All it took was different floats (they are shaped like trapezoids). The carb is also jetted square.
With the Dart manifold picture, it would actually fit under the windshield, but we'd have to set the rear float off the car.
Recently I went to a Brodix manifold, which is taller, so now it would not clear for sure unless it was sideways.
pretty slick setup.
is it a driver?
i have an aed that was square jetted, and i couldnt get it lean enough for cruising the streets. i even talked with john at aed and he said if i wanted a lean cruise, it would have to have a power valve. not even messing with the bleeds would do i what i wanted.
15.x a/f range is what i was looking for.
nice setup!

With the old Aerosol carb I had, it drove well at part throttle. Now with the sideways Quickfuel, I have yet to work all the bugs out of it, but it seems ok at part throttle. I don't think there are provisions in it though for power valves, but I'd have to double check on that.

it was 35 bucks+shipping to do it.
before it would cruise in the 11's and just eat gas.
now im getting it tuned out to run in the 14-15 range, and the plugs are looking a lot less black.
