Default Spohn tq arm... 1.4 short times

Anyone pulling 1.3 - 1.4 short times with a Spohn tq arm. Just wondering if the mounting locations of the crossmember will hold up.

I went from high 1.5s to mid 1.4s with the Spohn ta.Set it at 3-3.5 degrees negative pinion angle and it will hook real hard.I never broke anything the Spohn ta is a very stout and heavy piece.

Does this mount using both existing OEM crossmember locations (their photo only reflects driver side).

I take it you've had no problem with the floor pan?

Thanks for the info!!!!

No problems with the floor pan. It mounts right to the stock crossmember points. I even ran over a deer with it and it still works. It did tweak the floor pan when that happened, just a little, but nothing else is messed up.

I set mine to -4 and it bites pretty good. Never broke it either. Consistent 1.4x's and some nice 1.3's when I turn it up a notch.

Thanks for the info. I had planned on a -2, but sounds like a little more aggressive works well.

I run one with 0 degrees (less is better if you hook as it induces less friction). When the t/arm reacts at launch, it pulls up. The small fasteneres would be an issue in rotating the front of the arm down, but it doesn't. Best 60' 1.400 with a dozens of 1.40-1.44's.

I love this pic so much from Friday, I'll post it again, and note my buddy was in the car with me.

Sweet pic.

Had been debating on a tq arm and I've decided on going with the Spohn w/rod end.

Yep a handfull of 1.48s at -2, slicks, 100 shot and a soft SY-3500 converter. If it lifts the stock wheels on a 3850lbs car, I think you'll be OK.
