Default general ? about pulling the front wheels

Theoretically, what kind of 60' would it take to pull the fron wheels (skinnies)??

I pull mine about 4-5" with full size fronts and 1.5-1.6 60', But it depends on power to. ive seen cars realy hook and pull the tires for a split second, But my car makes power and carries the front tires up for a good 3-5', so alot depends on 60',power,weight,and suspention.

I have been told that my car gets em up 2-3 inches with a good hook and usually only a high 1.6 or low 1.7. There is a guy around here with a stock converter car with a dry system who claims he has pics of his car pulling em about 8-10 inches and carring em about 10 feet and cutting high-mid 1.7's

I couldnt get my tires in the air with a 1.47 sixty foot, 9 second pass on a 200 shot with full drag suspension... To me thats a good thing though, tires up is only good for pleasing the crowd.

I've cut a 1.55 and kept the car on the ground...and i've also cut a 1.71 and popped the driverside tire....depends alot on suspension and frontal weight

i would like to get mine up just for a picture

rear has to come first

think 410-420 hp, stock shocks and springs, no front sway, fats and skinnys, 27" tire, and 4.30's could do it???

the most important things are slicks and LOOOSE adjustable front suspension like a set of Hal shocks. i have gone 1.6s and pulled them and low 1.5s and drug them. ron is right, wheels up is just for pics.

Jackstands and Photoshop.

Yank the sway bars and take off any subframe connectors or strut tower brace. Also get a nice sticky set of ET Street/Drags. That should help.

Loose shocks up front make wheelie's easy. As long as your pushing 400+ HP, and have on a good set of sticky tires.
Hell I've seen a lowered car with 450HP pull one wheel with drag radials.

1.68-1.69 60fts.

Vig3200, stock rear 3.23's, lid, hooker LT's and catback, 3200lb raceweight, no front sway bar, stock suspension otherwise.

Got video of it pulling them a couple inches on the driver's side. you can feel it "set down" too.

But on my mid 1.5's on my 11.7's with the TP4400 instead of the Vig3200 it didn't pull 'em. Go figure
