^^^ thanks.... a lot of testing coming up in the next few weeks to find the sweet spot for the 2 step ,trans brake,suspension tweaking ect...

I know what you mean I been testing my 2-step as well. I foot brake to 3K which has produced my best times to date but I have been moving up RPM's on the 2-step. I noticed you got more weight out of the car so it may run up on the rev limiter!

My car is 3,350 pounds so that could be why I am not hitting the rev limiter on the 75 shot.

I can't wait to see the track results either. The 4.10 should be fine and if anything we may need to play with the converter. The ET Drag will grow unlike the radials that were on the car which will drop rpm as well + going from the 4.56 - 4.10.

it's all about testing before final things can be tweaked

damn snow here now, so who knows if we will get a track day this year

Yeah talk about freaky IL weather. I woke up to a foot of snow and I'm looking out the window now and most of it's melted. I think we're all itching to get to the track. I'll see you guys on the 19th. By the way Tom you need to change your plates to "ndfrsd3" since your short a couple of gears now. lol

just curious on how much e.t. you guys are picking up after going from 6 speed to a 400? I'm told .3

I think that is close. I have been watching M6 to A3 times for quit some time as I was going to put a th400 in my camaro.

its more than .3 tenths.... if i go from a 1.55 60 to a low 1.3 that alone is .4 or more on top, setup is key to..... im going with a 5200 stall, trans brake, 2-step a lot of weight reduction so well see how it works when i get to the track

I had a converter like the one you have, with a 7200 rpm limiter you should be fine, the MPH will probably stay the same but your ET is gonna drop probably .3 if not more.

Lenny builds some really good converters I'd put that thing right on the floor on the brake and let go of the button, and hang on

It should. Mine went to about 5400 on the brake, might have been a touch looser then yours is. I was running a 4.10 gear and with a full slick @ 3500 lbs was trapping around 126 running 10.50's, I used to shift at 7000 and the light would just come on as I went thru the traps.

I'd have loved to see how it would have worked out now with the car down to about 3350, and @ 3000 lbs where it will be when I get it back together... yeah.

Just getting the car to 3000 lbs I think would have gotten it pretty close if not to a 9.x n/a Not bad for a nitrous built 402

yeah im close to the 3000-3100 race weight so i think low 10's at the min ....
