The car will run fine with the A/C gone. What you need to do is remove the freon, the best way to do it is to get a set of automotive gauges and hook them up to the lines and get rid of the gas. Or if you cant find a set you could just pierce one of the lines with a very small nail. There is Oil in the system so make sure your prepared for that to come out. After the gas is out its just a few bolts.

hold in the schrader valve on the a/c line to evacuate the freon. i wouldnt recommend puncturing it with anything. it is under pressure.

Just get the car up on jackstands and put your hand on the compressor, it's really pretty self explanatory man.

if you did in fact pull yours off you should know you do not need a shorter belt. there is a belt that is just for the a/c, simply remove it. the serpentine belt doesn't run the a/c!

Once the dash is out, can the heater box be removed with the engine in the car? I managed to get the dash out but I just dont have a place to pull the engine.

there are 2 13mm..bolts bolting the lines to the box in the Fire wall unbolt thoes. 3 10mm one to condensor 1 to canister unbolt 1 to bottom of condensor take radiator shroud off pull condensor out. Unbolt 2 15mm on the compressor from the top 2 15mm from bottom at this point compressor will fall 4 15mm holding bracket. 1 bolt holding canister bracket then your done 30-45mins

leave heater core remove lines, just loop the lines on the Water pump heater core is pretty light

Hello, after you get the a/c pulled out we offer a delete panel to cover the hole up. You can get it bare, black hammertone, or red. Give me a call if you have any questions.
