Okay there Ricky Bobby. I know it's the fastest who gets paid and the fastest who gets laid!

Taking time off sucks but as like we discussed, sometimes that has to happen. I remember going up to LVD every Wednesday night in the summer and running the ***** off the car in the bracket class, it would be 100$ per night and gas was still in the low 2$ range. I can only imagine had it been the high 4$ we had last year.

I figure that between getting to the track, the wear and tear on the car, truck, trailer, fuel, race gas, nitrous, fees, paying to get the pit guy in, it generally total's up to about 500 bucks a day.

That being said, with the job change requiring me to be there more (decreasing my available time) and the stuff I have to do around the house this year I just don't have the time right now, and while I'm not racing, the $ I'm not spending going to the track is being used to collect parts for the next round.

I'm definately not out, car's sitting there and the parts pile is getting bigger every week.

By the end of the summer it will be apart and work will commense, as I'll have everything for the chassis by then.

It's gonna rip for sure when I get it back out.

Glad to see they gave it to a real race guy....I know over the last year or so , you have given me some great insight on getting my car to hook..

Hopefully this will keep the "Will my car run in the 10's? Oh yeah, my car is stock, what do I need?" threads out of this section.

The rest of the mods went to "Fast and Furious" to brush up on our racing skills

As I stated we're all here to help, but the pointless threads that can be answered with a search will be handled
