Default Is this enough motor plate ?

Wondering if this will be enough motor plate, have to remove some for the alt., and drysump pump.

how thick are the plates, and are you using a midplate also

1/4 inch front plate, yes going to use a .090 steel mid plate

from the pictures it looks like theres a good amount of meat left outside of your cut line

Mine's held on by the water pump bolts only and has been that way for a year, no problems at all, and I'm running just the motor plate. I do have a torsional support bar attached to the frame by one of the holes that normally attaches the a/c pump

My plate is 1/4 inch thick too fwiw.

I had to do similar mods on mine. With a mid plate it was good for over a 1050 hp to the ground
