Default Hoosier QTP M6?

Any buddy have any luck with these tires? I've always been a MT guy but soon I'm gonna buy some Pro-Stars and get rid of the TT2's. I really don't wanna run a Tubed slick just because, and Radial's I hear are harder for M6 guy's to cut a good 60' on a DR.

So any buddy have luck with these tires? Also not sure if I wanna go 26's or 28's yet just because of the fact I dont wanna change rear Ratio's

not as good as et drags. but better/softer then et street, for a DOT bais ply.

What do you need a tire to do? you need a DOT, any street driving, track only?

So why don't you want to run a M/T?

Never weighed them, but also never used Hoosiers. I've always had good luck with M/T's so that's what I use.

I like 'em. I cut 1.62 60's on them. Not the greatest, but I have a cam only car, and its a vert. got a few friends that cut 1.5x's on them no problem.

Yeah I'm trying to decide on the 28.0'' x 11.50'' - 15''LT or the 26.0'' x 11.50'' - 15''LT OR 27.0'' x 10.50'' - 15''LT

I have a 9 inch with 4.11's and really don't wanna step up to a 4.30 yet :/

My 27" QTP's drive alot better than my ET's did and work better at the track. They don't hook worth a crap on the street though.

I run the M&H Racemaster 26x11.5x15 cheeter slick. dot,has little thread. I run them at the track and on my m6 car I cut 1.42 to 1.44 60's all day N/A. They hook on the streets as well even when I spray a 150 shot too. For me,they have out hooked M/T tires all the way at track and street. www.intercotire.com I have also used the M&H Musclecar drag too. 305/40/16 and was cutting 1.6's on them using some old junk rims. If u want a dr my bud runs the hoosier dr and he says they hook better then the m/t radials. I never tried either.

Did you have to do the BFH mod to fit them?

I would say stick with the 26" if you are N/A for that gear. I ran a 28 with a 4.10 and I had to come out of the hole at 6K+ rpm's to keep it from bogging.
