My Weld R/T wheels fit with NO grinding. And there are a few other Weld designs being released soon that will clear stock LS1 brakes. Scott Rider on the design team is doing a great job looking out for the LSx community, and designing these new street wheels that fit with no hassle.

Why run the older design when newer, stronger, improved ones are out?

Well then it comes back to cost, but the new ones are sexy.
I am gonna run a summit wheel, they are the only ones that make it, so its not a question of made in usa, its the only place you can get it.
