Don't cut corners buy real prostars. Jegstars and Summit Stars look a lot diff than Prostars IMO. Not to mention they are so much heavier.

I have the Jegs ones on the front (15X4) and Summit on the back (15X8), they're the same! Only difference I see is the center cap, the Jegs wheels have the Jegs logo and the Summit ones are plain chrome. Compaired to Pro Stars the Jegs/Summit are a 1 piece design where the Pro Star isn't. Pro Stars requirs a shanked lug nut and the knock off's use an acorn style that recesses into the wheel. They feel about the same weight to me. Only other thing is the knock off's are stamped "China" on the back of the wheel

I'm running Summit Stars on the rear with Greg Weld's up front. Minimal grinding to get them to fit.

Maybe $125 a wheel to $350 a wheel has something to do with it

350 a wheel? I don't know who's ripping you off, but Weld Prostar fronts are 190.00 each, and rears are 210.00 each.

I meant that will fit over the brakes. Why would it matter anyway to support a company thats out of business.

Another big reason people get the knock offs, they fit with alot less grinding if any. Its not all about price or supporting american.
