Default Serious Bracket Racers check this out!

Racers and Friends,

At the Ultimate Super-Pro Challenge, we handed out a hokey handwritten flyer for our innaugural $100,000 race! It will be March 5, 6 and 7, 2004 and will be called The Fistful of Dollars! We are in process of negotiating with various sponsors so a professional flyer was not ready, but the race is for real and is 100% guaranteed.

Here's the deal. . .Friday and Sunday will pay $10,000 to win, $2,000 runner-up, $500.00 in the semis, $300.00 back to eight, $200.00 back to sixteen and $100.00 to thirty-two. Saturday's race will pay $100,000 to the winner, $20,000 runner-up, $5,000 in the semis, $3,000 back to eight, $2,000 back to sixteen and $1,000 to thirty-two. In addition, the winner of each of the ten-grand races will receive a 24' enclosed car trailer! Entry fee will be $1,000 for all three days. Buy backs will be $100.00 for Friday and Sunday and $300.00 for Saturday, first or second round. There will be first round only buy-backs with 250 or more entries. Single day entries will not be available. Spectator and crew admission will be $40.00 for the weekend or $15.00 per day. Total purse not including incentives is $208,800.00!!!

Here's the next deal. . .There will be a weekend points fund awarding the top three drivers. Winner will receive a rolling dragster chassis. Second place will be a complete 540 bracket-style engine. Third place will be a racing powerglide with torque converter in the length of the winner's choice. Anyone may enter the three-day race, but to be eligible for this points fund, you must pre-enter by February 15, 2004. Also, the first 100 pre-entries will park on the pavement. As I said earlier, the official flyer is not ready because we are negotiating deals with various trailer, chassis, engine and transmission manufacturers. We did accept fourteen pre-entries this weekend and anyone who wishes to pre-enter now may do so using one of the coupons from the Ultimate Super-Pro or Footbrake Challenge flyers downloadable from the Big Bucks page on this site! Look for an official flyer to be mailed within two weeks. Thanks again for a fantastic turnout at the Super-Pro Challenge! See you soon.

HRMMMMM...

That sounds like fun!

The only thing I hate about Super Pro Racing the those damn dragsters! They are tough to beat in brackets with a door car.

I'm going to add this to my 2004 race calendar for now though =)

I would automatically asume that if its a super pro race that there is no restrictions on electronics.

I would love to see if they have a footbrake class there.
