New Track Times at 1/8 Track Need Help!
Went to the track last night. A new 1/8 mile track called Angelton Dragway. First 2 races on motor I pulled 7.6`s with 1.75 60ft`s. I haven`t figured out what psi to run the new E/T`s. I had them at 16psi and no tubes. I believe that runs me at 11.9 in the 1/4. Now when I sprayed the first time I run 7.1 with 1.65 60ft. Car felt good but I could still feel it spinning off the line. I run 2 more times on spray but the fog was really wet last night and the track got slippery. I lowered the tire psi to 11 psi and still cut 1.7`s 60ft and 7.2, 7.3 spinning bad (damp track) I spun side ways on the last run so I quit for the night. Car was running great! I don`t spray threw shifts, 3200-6000rpm`s and this is the 2nd time I have ever been to the track. The E/T`s are new, never been used. My race weight is 3650lbs without me. I way 218lb so thats almost 3900lbs with me and I also had 3/4 tank of gas I do have to say alot of folks there where surprised how fast I run for a stock looking car What do you think guys for the second time out and first on E/T`s. Do you think I have more!

beardWS6,
Sounds to me you are running pretty good. My wife and I will be at HRP on Sunday if the weather holds up. Why don't ya come on out to the track on Sunday and lets see what we can do to help you out.
We will be out there in our loaner black 1969 Z/28 camaro. It has valves unlimited on the door with alot of sticker all over it. My wife will be driving it this weekend.
