Default New Tire rim combo

Well I finally found some Rear GW to match my fronts, also got new tires for out back. The old 275/50-15 MT Drs on prostars werent cutting it on my M6.
These 27x10.5 Hoosier QTPs should work much better. I hope to pop them on tonight and Ill get some more pics

Ill let you know! They are a drag slick with grooves, so they should hook. I dont think my car needs a 28" tire but more than a 26 so I think a 27 is perfect.

They came on the rims, but prob what I would have ordered anyways since I cant decide.
If these dont work Ill sell them and go to a 28 sw drag slick.

Yeah tell me about the radials not working with an M6

You read my mind, Mike. I'm putting the same type of tire on my car too now that the shootout is over. I was running a 295/45 17 at the ltxshootout, which is 27.2" tall.

I'm betting the 27" bias ply tire will do wonders for both of our cars Hopefully next year they'll allow bias-ply tires for at least the M6 cars in our class, if so you and I should be some good racin once again!

LOL! At our vids spinning to the 60ft. They will help a ton!!!
I already started a thread about using any DOT tire next year on the shootout forum It will be awesome racing if they do!!

I have one rim almost on. Its just barely rubbing now but it got too late to keep grinding last night.
Does NOT look like the bumper or rocker need any mods/cutting BFH etc with the 27"s on my Formula( camaro may be different) has an 1"+ front and rear and is centered just fine with NON Adj LCAs
Still need to double check clearance on the back side of the tire to the wheel well and get rid of the bump stops..

That's funny, I too asked if he's going on Sun. I'm pulling a few lbs. off the front end (right now) so I can stand half a chance trying to better my times against him. LOL
