Looks real nice. I like the way you have the rear tires tucked. 4-link?
On your engine, with the vac pump for the valve cover, does this take the place of a PCV/catch can type of setup? Why nout route both valve covers to the vac pump? I wanted to do a vac setup if this was the case. I don't like the whole PCV/catch can thing.

yes, the vac system replaces the factory pcv sysytem. the pump is connected to a tank off to the side to catch any oil. a must if your doing high compression or boosted applications.

97 camaro, full mild steel funny car cage, full backhalved, 12 bolt, 572 with a plate and fogger, glide (for now) complete tubular front suspension, aerospace brakes.
complete interior, dash/headliner/door panels/carpet/ power windows/door locks/ power trunk/full stereo system.
car is fully street legal and will be street driven!
the last car (68 camaro in the background in one of the pics) had this motor trans combo in it and ran 8.49@165.9 and it weighed #3785!
so i think the new chassis and weight will make for a nice little street car!

it's called "chassis black" they use it for frames on the freightliner trucks.
it is already pre-mixed (except hardner of course) and you can cut it 50/50! i sprayed the entire inside of the car and cage, along with the whole underside and engine bay with a 1/2 gallon. and that was 2 coats on each.
it's holds up pretty good, and looks pretty good also.
just make sure you take your time on the cage! round tube is real hard to paint and not get "fades" or "overspray" spots! hence the two coats.
