call from NHRA on 10.99 rule date line,11-10-03, 4.10 pm,well here we go again ,Kurt just called from Div 1 hdqtrs and said even though they havent been notified, in the new national drgstr issue44,vol44,nov 14th issue,bottom of page 5 ,it appears now their[nhra] 
not changeing rule for 04 ,concerning T top cars ,lets hope they got it right this time , ,and that were done with this bob

It has been on/off/on/off in the last few months, indicating to me that NHRA wasn't prepared for the stink that was raised. My opinion is it will be sneaked into the rulebook in the middle of the winter with no fanfare, and hoping no one will know about it until its already in effect. Its obvious that NHRA WANTS this rule. We'll see, though.

Verdad Gallardo Yeah I know but I want to be able to run anywhere. I'd like to make it to some of these shootouts or the ls1tech series races next year. A 10 pt really puts a damper on a street car.
we need up to the minute notification is the rule going to change or not, one day it is one day it isnt
i dont want to but i just might put a cage in instead of the roll bar for every time they change their mind.
how quick will a 10 point cage take you down to? there not making it have more then 10 points for anything quicker then 9.99 with t-tops are they?
