Ran my first 1/4

Ran my first 1/4 I finally got to run the 1/4 mile tonight. I ran at Rockingham Dragway aka "The Rock". It ought to be called "The Slick Rock". I was with a few other LS1 guys and all of us had traction problems. Anyway, that's all the bitching from me. I was actually very pleased with my car. I didn't think it was as fast as it is. I had run the 1/8 a few times and I did pretty good. But you never know until you run the 1/4.
My average times tonight were around 12.7x and 12.8x but my best time was a 12.574 @ 108.34.
I didn't think my car would get to the mid 12's but it suprised me. Anyway I just had to babble a little because I am still so pumped up about my run

Hey man, the lt1 that was with us broke his rear end or something on his last pass. We had to limp all the way home at 50 mph but he made it back. We didnt get home until about 1am. I hate that I could not get any traction so I could post some new best # also but thats just how it goes. COLD AIR + COLD TRACK = NO TRACTION!!!
Awesome times for street tires on a cold night. I finall got some slicks, but I did not get to play around to much on them the last time I was at the track. Got any plans for more mods?
