I hear ya.
I'm at the point, that one of 2 setups are going to replace the current one. Either this motor is getting redone to take boost and an F1R, or an F2 is going in it, or I'm going to put a 440 together with a set of wcch allpro heads, cary's intake and just a simple plate is going on it in an attempt at 8.50 (little faster on a good day, I want to be able to go run 8.50 class at races like shakedown, etc.)
First step: 400 lbs out of the car. Once that is done, everything else is up in the air.

Something to think about with the elbow vs. 4 barrel setup on the Victor Jr. was a comparrison on duty cycle of the injectors between the two. A friend of ours has a 408ci setup with TFS 235s,250 dur. .62x cam, victor jr intake, accufab 4 barrel TB and all the other nice bolt ons to go along with it. Anyway with a intake elbows.com elbow on this setup duty cylce with the 42 lb. injectors was around 78% i think and after just swaping the elbow for 4 barrel and after tweaking the tune duty cyle went up almost 20%. That right their tells us that the swap was making alot more power.
Some people may not realize that your tuning software can tell you alot by paying attention to detail between the before and after tunes.

I am 99% sure you need a min of a 4.125 bore to run them, but I'll be on a 4.185 so it's a mute point. Actually, it's not, because I'm going to have the heads opened up to work with the 4.185 bore, and they'll probably flow even more

They'll be on top of a lsx block, if I stick with the nitrous route. Cary's single plane intake and a dominator flange TB on top. Unless I smarten up, put the distributor front cover on the motor, buy a digital 7 box and just put a dominator and a 2 stage speedtech plate on it. Which, at this point is starting to look like an option.
