FWIW, I'm pretty sure Corda's car wasn't at a legal Stock weight for the 9.99 pass...

Those S/E guys can sure work some voodoo magic though...

Are you saying it's not?

While one could certainly argue that the heads aren't 100% unported/extensively modified, I can assure you that it is close to stock displacement (they are allowed to overbore the cylinders for rebuilds) and most certainly has LS1 castings, along with a stock-lift hydraulic roller cam. Those cars aren't super-lightweight as one would expect, either.

If you hit air like last weekend Joe...

Hardtop and everyone else was down 1.3-1.7 mph. Think about what 140 mph traps woulda been liek

Lift ok, What about duration? No matter how "little" head work was done, I am not nieve enough to believe that If I took the heads off a brand new LS1 swapped out appropriate springs, that Als' car would run 9.999 NA. If this is the case Y arent more people or ANYONE ELSE running his combo. Who is the FASTEST NA 346 on the board? What is the difference between these two cars time wise? LOTS. Now factor in the weight difference, maybe it will be close in ET. But I ASSURE YOU the LS1Tech car has severley ported heads. Maybe, Maybe with the new AFR heads we might see some crazy **** like this more, but with stock LS1 head castings NO WAY.

WOWOWOWOWOW!!!!

My question is........ auto or standard? Specs on trans?

I just need something to argue with my freind about(if its an automatic b/c he worships 6 speeds).

This was, IMHO, the best race of Thunder's Shootout.. barely edging out the Madman and Ragtop Outlaw run (I'll post that run later)..

CLICK HERE for Mikey and Underdog's memorable run!
