Will a steel drive shaft over stock lower dyno #'s alot?
Just what it says. And will it lower 1/4mi times at the track? Please don't say who cares about 's there is a reason behind this question. Thanks, mike.

I know this is in the wrong section(SORRY) but,on the dyno today I lost 32hp. The only change was the lg motorsport g6x3 cam and a steel drive shaft. This is a mustang dyno. My old numbers closed cutout was 495hp 458tq. New numbers were 462hp 460tq close cutout. Now,with old cam I could only pull my buds camaro(modded as well)by 1/2 car from a 70 to 130mph roll. we both have m6 and 4.11's. After the lg cam swap I could then pull him by 1.5 cars from the same mph roll. My motor and old cam was all done by the dyno tunner I was at today. I wonder if he calabrated his dyno high before or it was off. How can I make a nice gain vs my bud but then turn around and loose 32hp? Yes the weather was 75deg today vs maybe 60 to 65deg last tune and yes new cam and driveshaft. But side by side I could out pull him by another full car.I don't get it. I don't have my car yet(rear was leaking bad)but I want to now re-race him again just to see if I still pull him by the same as before the shop got my car for the last three months. W.T.F Any advice? Thanks, mike.

i have been told that someone gained a decent amount of higher speed power with an aluminum over a stock steel one. i don't know if their is any validity to this but someone told me it.
