Anyone Running a Super Shield? Anyone Running a super shiled? I was thinking of getting one for my TH400. How does it fit under a Fbody? Hard to install?
I have one.
I ran into a fitment issue right away with this shield. Supposedly, from my phone call to CSR, they had a bad batch of shields from the factory. My right most bolt hole did not line up. I had to pull out the aluminum sleeve and grind it to fit. I haven't got it into the car yet but should be this week. Everything I've read has said it fits with no modification.

I have one on a 350 it fits fine but you have to put the motor/trans in as a unit. unless you lower the K to get the bolts out cause they are so long. Or you could cut hole in the tunnel I guess
If you can wait a week or two I'll let you know how it fit in my car. I'm not quite ready to put the engine and trans in yet. Check on the link in my sig in a week or so, or PM me.
