Default low trap speed?

i know this is a funny question but it seems most ls1's get better trap speeds at low 11's , i ran a 11.2 at 116 and most cross at 120's, i have a 3.73 with 26x10.5x15s and skinnys on the front. What could cause this? or can i do something to boost my traps up? i know its olny 5-6 mph but i think up top this could really lower my times even more
Thanks in advance
Kyle

lockup the converter in 3rd or get a more efficient top end converter....but your et may suffer with the 2nd choice. i wouldn't really worry about it, your getting down the track fast and making use or your power

I wouldnt be concerned what everyone else runs for there mph, It the time that counts and your times seems really good for your Mods. I dont think Vig converters are as efficient up top as the yanks but I may be wrong. Your converter would not lock up unless you manually switch it during a 1/4 race.A pt4000 or 4400 converter would help mph I believe, The colonial I Think wrote something about that .
