Another new best today
Another new best today I went up to GLD dragaway one last time before the car goes away for bodywork this winter. We had some good weather. About 45 degress and I'm thinking around 65% humidity. On my first four runs I was able to hook but I was up to 118mph trap speeds.(about 1mph better than last weekend) On my fifth run I had a new best
60ft 1.52
1/8 et 7.13
1/8 mph 94.80
1/4 et 11.27
1/4 mph 118.28
I also cut a 1.51 60ft today.
I'm extremly happy with the numbers this year. The car is driven back and forth to the track every time. The setup has been super reliable for me.
I would like to thank the SPEED INC CREW for a the help with the combo and tuning. Jim,Dan,Tom,John,and my Bro Larry.

1980 malibu
stock short block
comp 228/228 .581/.581 112 lobe sep 2 dregress advanced
TEA 5.3 liter stage two heads.
Speed inc 4l60e with PT4400
ford 9 inch with 3.90 gears
28/1050/15 ET Drags.

Congrats Charlie. The air was crap today (baro 29.7ish), wait 'till ya run it in some killer air, I think you can knock off another 2 or 3 tenths

John B. Don't worry It will all come to gether. I remember earlier this year when you were running and my car had no motor in it.
Now I need to get rid of this baby cam in favor of a G5X-2 or G5X-3. With the new LSX intake/new cam/electric water pump. I be looking for 10.9x on motor next year.
