hah yup...but for me those seats are more comfy than stock...I don't have them in my car yet, but have driven my buddies, I can also wear a helmet w/o my head hitting the roof w/ the seats mounted on the floor...I'm 6'5.

I'd have them already but have yet to do a cage...

i've got two in my third gen, and they're really not that bad to sit in. I got the bolt in brackets from Racecraft. They make it real easy to put the seats in...you just have to measure and drill a few holes. Just remember that the backs are supposed to be supported by a support piece coming off of your cage.

They are not to bad. I haven't had any seat time in them yet but the padding on the seat covers is thicker then I was first expecting. I would go with a 17" or 18" width if you plan to be in the car for more then a race.

The Racecraft brackets really make it easy to mount these seats.

I have the cheap Kirkeys in mine, Ive sat in them a few times but havent got the car togather yet to take a ride in them. And like said above im 6,4 and I love the extray head room.
My buddy bought the nicer Kirkeys that are 17 inches wide and they sit a lot better than mine

OT, but the cage was done by Alston Racing in Antioch and then added on by Neil @ Possessed Fabrication in Lombard (both Illinois). Rear bars are welded to the flat area above the gas tank.

Here is my kirkey I haven't gotten around to the passenger seat yet. I think they aren't too bad I've napped in em before during a rain delay while in the lanes.

do these have the option of just a floor mount or do you have to have a cage to mount these right? i was just going to fab up something to mount where the stock seat bolts go... oh **** i just read that post that the backs have to be supported by a cage i only ordered one with a cover i can just send it back though ill talk to my buddy who does all the cages in his wheelin rigs maybe we can fab the floor mount with an extention to support the back. i was going to try to use the stock seatbelts
