that seat is great but it has to bolted down or you are going to get hit with a loose ballast infraction.

I never understood why organizations put these two front seat rules in. All I get it is so it looks like a street car....yeah inside of a car with a 10-12 pt cage, real street car looking.

by the way, i was talking to a friend of mine the other day and he says you remember that race car, I so no, which one, he says the one with the really nice and fast passenger seat .....rolleyes...LOL

rule should be abolished from every racing rule book

I've seen a lot of NHRA cars with the pass seat dzus fastened in..

But I agree on the pass seat on race cars being silly, lexan windows, 25.2 cage and a twin screw sitting through the hood. Sure that pass seat makes me think its a street car lol.

Edgar, not to pick on you, but my Nova has a full cage and has a passenger seat. So b/c it has a full cage it's not a street car?

Full cage on a "street car"? I don't think the passenger seat changes the fact it's a race car.

No Derek your car is a race car because you race it.

But take a passenger seat out of an 11.60 car with no bar and keep your passenger seat in with your cage and ask the average joe which is the race car and i bet you'd get picked more then the other guy.

Okay, I'll just have to accept my race car has a weight issue then (due to full interior, full exhaust, stereo, non-pizza cutter front wheels, and that passenger seat thing). Maybe Jenny Craig can help out....
