I use to run the radial slicks back in 2004-2005 and had them screwed to the rim (8 per side). My car would 60' in the 1.31-1.33 range with no slippage.

To be honest I don't think you need to run screws because with the radials you are running more air pressure which helps it seat to the rim. A bias tire runs less air, so it does not seat to the rim as well.

If your usiung screws, what do you seal them up with? I got some wheels the other day and the guy I bought them from forgot to tell me he screwed holes in them. I am using 275 radials also.

I did not use anything on mine and I have no leaks. The screws do not go all the way through the tire so there is little chance for leaking.

Six 1.29-1.30 60 foots on 275/60 Hoosier DRs with high tack done the right way @ 16.5psi cold.

It most definitely does move, I can live with it seeing they are tubeless.

Isnt that what I said

The way the 'fast' guys told me to do it wa to put a light coat on both the tire and wheel, let it dry for a minute and then mount it. Thats what I did. I may knurl the inner surface of the wheel to get a little more bite.

I dont think it moves that bad for a 3400 lb car that 60's 1.29-1.30, beadlocks are the only thing that would stop it 100%, or screws but the bead bundle is different on radials and they really dont recommend screws.
